Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. LTAC experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Unit sees cardiac cath/post-cath, stress test, MI, acute kidney injuries, renal failure, pneumonia, total joint/ortho, cellulitis, rule-out chest pains, and post-op bariatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) or the alternative certification SCRN
