Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients. Local Pay: $32/hr Travel Pay: $1,420 gross weekly for 36 hours $1,860 gross weekly for 48 hours Setting: Psych Hospital Location: Denver, CO Hours: 36/48 hour rotating schedule Orientation is 40 hours for the first 2 weeks on day shift Notes: must have 1 year of inpatient psych experience Start: 1st and 3rd week of every month with the exception of July and December only having one start date Contract Length: 13 or 24 weeks Minimum Requirements One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
