Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake Contract: 6-9 Months Location- Plano, TX We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to design, build, optimize, and support enterprise cloud data pipelines and data products. Key Responsibilities: Develop complex batch, incremental, and near-real-time data pipelines using Snowflake . Build scalable ETL/ELT frameworks using SQL, Python, Snowpark, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Dynamic Tables . Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse usage, clustering, and compute costs. Develop data models, data quality checks, monitoring, error handling, and recovery processes. Implement CI/CD, testing, source control, security, governance, and RBAC best practices. Collaborate with architects, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders. Explore Snowflake Cortex/AI capabilities and support AI/ML data use cases. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of enterprise cloud data engineering experience. 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience. Strong SQL and Python development skills. Experience with modern data engineering, ETL/ELT, orchestration, CI/CD, and data modeling. Strong knowledge of Snowflake security, governance, performance, and cost optimization. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred: SnowPro Core or Advanced certification. Healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences experience. Snowflake Cortex, AI/ML, MLOps, or feature pipeline experience. Kasmo Global
