Program Analyst

About this role


Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Program Analyst. The Program Analyst will plan, implement, administer, and evaluate various programs and services. This position will work within the Education Sector Partnership and Programming Unit which convenes and manages relationships with K-12 schools throughout LA County to assure inclusive engagement in programmatic efforts, policy development, and resource allocations and alignment.


The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 12/31/26, with the good chance of extension.


Pay Rate: $46.90/hr working 40 hours a week


Location : Position will be hybrid 2 days in office and 3 days telework.

Job Duties:

• Oversee administration of public health programs by planning, developing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating programs within school settings
• Ability to analyze data and prepare findings and recommendations for management
• Lead grant writing, research and submission
• Oversee accurate records/data and provides comprehensive reports to Leadership
• Supervisory experience.
• Oversee and support with staff scheduling, assignments and administrative tasks as needed.
• Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
• Ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Support data collection efforts; including creating new data collection tools and improving existing data collection tools

Requirements :

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control -and- four years of experience in the analysis of mental health or public health programs. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control may be substituted for one year of the required experience; and
• Valid Class C California Drivers License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
