Position Description: SmartMED Drive-Thru is seeking an energetic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to all patients over one year of age, in our fast-paced drive-thru setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute and non-life-threatening illnesses, injuries, and conditions. As part of our team, you must demonstrate a commitment to delivering patient-centered care. The provider must be friendly, caring, and able to work collaboratively with our medical team to ensure each patient receives timely, compassionate care. Because we are a drive-thru medical clinic, applicants will need to be comfortable working outdoors (under the canopy) to care for patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions including minor injuries, infections, and acute illnesses. Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventative health practices. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. Demonstrate the ability to manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high level of care and patient satisfaction. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. Current and unrestricted FNP or PA license in GA National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a similar fast-paced setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach to care. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with team members. Skills & Competencies: Friendly, approachable, and dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Efficient in managing multiple patients in a high-volume environment without sacrificing quality of care. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and maintaining accurate documentation. Experience with Athena EMR preferred Compensation: Commensurate with experience, 1099 Contractor for year one with potential of moving to W-2 year two.
