Process Technician - Plastic Injection Molding

Job Description
Fast growing plastic injection molding company in Northeast Ohio has an exciting opportunity for an Injection Molding Process Technician. Responsible for developing and troubleshooting the molding processes to achieve optimum production and quality goals. Provide support and leadership to molding operations and ensure a consistent process is followed.
\n \nDuties and responsibilities:
\nDevelop, document and implement standard molding processes.
\nTroubleshoot equipment and processing problems related to product quality or to improve efficiencies.
\nRecommend and improve manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
\nEffectively communicate with other departments and between shifts.
\nSet up presses and related equipment and work area according to daily production schedules.
\nTrain, mentor, and motivate production staff to excel in their careers.
\nPerform all other duties assigned.
\n \nRequirements:
\nMinimum 3 years of prior related work experience with plastic injection molding processing and equipment knowledge, set-up and maintenance.
\nStrong math, computer, and communication skills.
\nPhysical ability to stand for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting 50 lbs, etc.
\nExcellent problem solving skills with attention to detail.
\nNew mold sampling and troubleshooting experience.
