POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinician will provide weekly individual therapy to clients diagnosed with moderate to severe mental health diagnoses while collaborating with both internal and external treatment team members, including Program Managers, Residential Counselors, and behavioral health county case managers and clinicians. This position will offer clinical individual/group supervision as part of full-time employment with G.L.O.M. Job Details: Job Type: Full Time Pay: $80,000 – $88,000 Work Location: Livermore, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet with clients as needed based on clinical assessment of their needs. Develop and implement treatment plans based on Department of Healthcare standards, clinical experience, and knowledge. Facilitate weekly group therapy sessions with the assigned facility. Complete progress notes for all assigned clients based on individual and group sessions, and crisis interventions. Perform individual counseling and crisis interventions. Maintain awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to client documentation; report as mandated to APS/PD.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an AMFT and/or ACSW. CPR/First Aid/BLS certification. Experience working in the adult residential care industry is preferred. At least two (2) years of mental health experience is preferred. Knowledge of psychiatric illnesses and treatments. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Excellent interpersonal skills for working with individuals and groups. Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends and overnight shifts. Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Possess strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. CCL-approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances. CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, squat, twist, pull, and bend multiple times daily. Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp, and reach as needed. Manual dexterity for repetitive maneuvers. Ability to work in an office environment.
