About the Position

Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: RN Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting - Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures - Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed - Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment - Willingness to participate in call coverage for the service line after normal business hours and weekends Description: The CVOR service line provides surgical interventions for routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Cardiac procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, and placement of ventricular assist devices. Cardiac procedures may also include impella or intra-aortic balloon pump placement, as well as adult ECMO. TAVR procedures are done in the endovascular operating room. Thoracic cases include laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures. Vascular procedures range from placement/revision of ESRD grafts/fistulas to endovascular procedures in the endovascular operating room. The CVOR service line includes 4 to 6 operating rooms depending on daily volume, including an endovascular suite. The CVOR service line has the capacity to conduct four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. Candidates must be available for 3 shifts from 11 AM to 11:30 PM on weekdays based on department need. Candidates will be required to participate in call coverage as needed.
