The role is strictly on-site and may include travel to multiple school locations, depending on the testing needs throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama School Psychologist license or active AL school psychometrist educator certification (proof required)
• Experience working within K-12 education environments preferred
• Strong assessment, data interpretation, and report-writing skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse school teams and families
• Flexibility to work in an itinerant capacity as needed

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students K-12
• Interpret assessment results to guide educational planning and support
• Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators regarding student needs
• Prepare thorough, accurate reports and maintain compliance with district procedures
• Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP development as assigned
• Adapt to changing caseloads and locations depending on district requirements

This contract will run from October 1, 2026 through May 26, 2027, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance for the extended and new school year terms. Candidates must be available to interview starting August 26, with breaks in interviewing between August 31 and September 4.
