Front-of-House Team Member (Pickup, Takeout & Customer Service)

Luanda Restaurant & Event Space in Brockton, MA is looking for a motivated Front-of-House Team Member to join our growing team. We're a family-owned restaurant located at 453 Centre Street with over 25 team members.

As our business continues to grow, we've evolved beyond the traditional full-service restaurant model. Today, much of our business revolves around pickup orders, third-party delivery, catering, online ordering, and phone orders. We're looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers picking up orders
Answer phones and accurately take customer orders
Package and verify takeout, delivery, and catering orders for accuracy
Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are completed efficiently
Assist with third-party delivery drivers and online orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter area
Deliver an exceptional customer experience with every interaction

Qualifications

Friendly, positive, and reliable
Strong communication and listening skills
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Organized and detail-oriented
Customer service experience is a plus, but no prior restaurant experience is necessary—we'll train the right person
Must be 18 years or older
Speaking Cape Verdean Creole and/or Portuguese is a plus, but not required
