Laborer Opportunity
Skilled Trades Partners is seeking dependable Laborers to assist with conveyor system installations in Plainfield. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on mechanical experience who want to grow in the industrial installation field.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of conveyor systems in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
- Use basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc.) to assemble and install components.
- Read and follow directions from supervisors and crew leads.
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a team.
- Perform material handling, lifting, and general site cleanup as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to turn nuts and bolts and perform basic mechanical assembly.
- Must have basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots).
- Prior experience in construction, mechanical assembly, or conveyor installation is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic are essential.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: Based on experience ($22-27/hr).
- Hours: Full-time, day shift (overtime may be available).
- Start Date: Immediate openings available.
