Human Resources Generalist (Manufacturing) Full‑time Grade: 09 Employee Group: Permanent Global Region: North America Compensation: USD24–USD33– hourly Responsibilities Site lead on all HR matters, including management training, new‑hire programs, benefits and other company events, recruiting activities, campus activity team and newsletter representation. Develop, prepare and maintain reporting and maintain compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations. Function as a liaison to management regarding employee concerns, issues, suggestions and recommendations. Handle employee requests for information regarding the interpretation of company and employee‑relations policies, practices and procedures. Investigate, analyze and prepare preliminary findings to be utilized in formulating appropriate responses to EEO complaints, unemployment hearings, employee discipline, employee‑career counseling and employee appeals. Participate in, foster engagement and retention through a variety of learning, development and affinity programs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, or related field is required. Experience in employee relations is desired, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate environment. Must possess a high level of knowledge of applicable human‑resources and payroll laws and regulations in the United States, Illinois, Cook and McHenry Counties. Must be able to research information, analyze data and present the same comprehensively. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both orally and in writing.
