As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $24.05 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, transit-related areas, parking locations, and surrounding perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors as needed, and report unauthorized access, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and updates to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
