The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is looking for a Janitor that will be responsible for maintaining the overall general housekeeping of the hospital.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Sanitize clinic spaces, restrooms, and replace bathroom supplies
• Dust, mop, and wipe daily staircases and hallways
• Trash and medical waste disposal
• Move furniture (i.e. tables, chairs, file cabinets) up to 50lbs
• Provide support for inclement weather duties, including providing umbrella bags, setting up slip protection mats, and shoveling / salting the perimeter of building
• Set up for events

Qualifications:

• High School/GED
• Janitorial Service Certificate of Education is a plus
• Ability to read and understand signs and labels written in English
• Some similar experience preferred
• Ability to be flexible and able to perform more than one task at a time
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to operate tools and equipment used in janitorial work
• Must have knowledge of proper use and care of mechanical cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA and Safety requirements

5 Openings/Shifts Available

• 2nd shift
• 3pm-11pm, Friday- Tuesday [OFF Wednesday and Thursday ]
• 3pm-11pm, Sunday – Thursday [OFF Friday and Saturday]
• 3pm-11pm, Tuesday - Saturday [OFF Sunday and Monday]
• Floater Position covering all three shifts as needed.
• 3rd shift
• 11pm -7am Thursday-Monday [OFF Tuesday and Wednesday]
• Part Time
• 21 hours Housekeeper – Laundry service Hours TBD

Pay Range

$17 - $20.39 USD
