Technology Quality Technician

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to conducting quality control activities, including inspections, tests, and results reporting, ensuring compliance with quality management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough visual, physical, and mechanical inspections on incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products, ensuring compliance with inspection procedures and standard work.
• Measure product dimensions using precision instruments (such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM equipment) and accurately record results in the quality database.
• Identify, isolate, and report defects or deviations from drawings and specifications; support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform manufacturing and engineering tests, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with applicable procedures and standard work.
• Ensure measurement and testing equipment is calibrated, operating correctly, and maintained.
• Assist in designing tests and fixtures and their set-up.
• When authorized, perform calibration of measurement systems.
• Participate in creation and review of Hazard Analysis and Risk Control for inspection and test activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement using Manufacturing System principles and tools.
• Participate in training and onboarding of new team members; provide input to improve inspection and test procedures.
• Support compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and inspect tools accordingly.
• Experience with hand tools, gauges.
• 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications (if any):

• Programming, CMM, SAP experience.
• Machining background.
