About the Position

Job Title: Special Procedures Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must possess necessary professional license Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - Extensive endovascular experience, including FEVAR, PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA, TAA, Angiograms, Declots, Lysis, Stenting, Embolization, and TAVRs - Greater than 1 year of Zeego and Pheno experience - Experience with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad - Ability to work well under pressure and independently in a high-acuity environment - Knowledge of PACS, Hybrid Siemens, advanced vascular features, and troubleshooting (Pheno/Zeego) - Familiarity with vascular supplies including balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths - Experience with the Epic charting system Description: Seeking a Special Procedures Radiology Tech for a 4x10 day shift. The position requires flexible on-call availability, approximately 8 times per month, with holiday call as needed. Experience in the Hybrid OR and extensive endovascular procedures is essential. Candidates must possess effective communication skills and the ability to work independently. No scrubbing is required for this position. Familiarity with Siemens Portable C-Arm functions, including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements, is necessary. This role involves multitasking and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates are expected to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. All required certifications must be maintained throughout employment. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, emergency response assignments may be necessary.
