Cyber Range Infrastructure Engineer An experienced network engineer who can design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions for Air Force cyber operations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, operating, or troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualized environments, or cyber range environments. Experience administering Linux operating systems in enterprise or lab environments. Experience implementing and troubleshooting TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, firewalls, and network services. Experience supporting virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, KVM, Hyper‑V, or Nutanix. Experience developing automation or scripting solutions using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience integrating hardware and software components into complex technical environments. Ability to analyze system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across compute, storage, and networking domains. TS/SCI clearance. High School diploma or GED. IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification. Nice to Have Experience supporting Department of War cyber, intelligence, test, training, or operational environments. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet. Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized application environments. Experience supporting large‑scale distributed infrastructure environments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. Experience supporting Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E), or exercise environments. Experience with storage technologies including SAN, NAS, vSAN, or distributed storage architectures. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field. Clearance & Eligibility Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation Projected range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
