Live-In Caregiver / Home Care Aide

Job Description

We are looking for a caring, dependable, and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide support and assistance to individuals in an ALF (assisted living facility) in South Miami. This position is available for either 2 days per week or 5 days per week , depending on availability and the needs of the household.

The ideal candidate has previous caregiving or home care experience and is comfortable providing personal care and day-to-day assistance. A Home Health Aide certification is not required. Candidates with other caregiving certifications or relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and general care
Assist with daily activities and personal care as needed
Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Assist with meals, housekeeping, and other needs
Provide support and assistance based on the individual's needs
Communicate with family members regarding care and daily activities
Provide dependable and compassionate care

Qualifications

Previous caregiving, home care, or similar experience preferred
Home Health Aide certification is not required
Other relevant caregiving certifications or training are welcome
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a private home and providing live-in care

Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week, or full-time, 5 days per week
Location: South Miami, FL
Compensation: Based on experience; to be discussed during the interview
