POSITION SUMMARY

The Registrar of Enrollment and Transportation oversees all aspects of student enrollment, recruitment, and transportation. They will direct the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment and the first day of school. The Registrar will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short‑term and long‑term recruitment strategies to ensure The Conservatory Lab Charter School meets enrollment objectives. Key Responsibilities Direct the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment and the first day of school. Develop and lead inclusive outreach and recruitment strategies to attract diverse families. Ensure DESE reporting requirements are met, including SIMS, EPIMS, and Civil Rights reporting. Represent CLCS publicly and communicate the mission to prospective families. Engage parents and students through individual, small, and large group meetings; coordinate tours, shadow visits, information sessions, interviews, and parent‑to‑parent connections. Lead communication planning to move prospects from inquiry to enrollment. Oversee the development of admissions materials, events, and marketing practices. Coordinate the systematic handling of applications and parent communications. Manage expectations and make enrollment decisions in accordance with MA General Laws. Oversee the lottery process for new students. Lead student retention efforts with school administration. Assist administration with reporting preparation and data management. Prepare and distribute student identification cards, bus passes, and parking stickers. Maintain confidentiality of information. Serve as liaison with BPS transportation; coordinate routes, updates, and routing information. Update the transportation system with new student information and handle field‑trip and extracurricular coordination. Coordinate with the front office to develop accurate dismissal processes. Maintain physical and computerized student records, including folders, reports, rosters, schedules, and grade books. Process new student records, transcripts, and enrollments; manage withdrawals and transfers. Qualifications Experience in admissions, enrollment, or registrar positions. DESE reporting experience. Proficiency in Excel and data management. Bilingual Spanish proficiency. Superior presentation and interpersonal skills. Organized and detail‑oriented. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Proficient with word processing, presentation software, and Google Sheets. Ability to work with diverse populations and independently within a team.
