Position Details

• Conduct evaluations for children, adults, and seniors, utilizing established assessment tools and observational strategies.
• Design tailored treatment plans to address specific communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives, keeping both immediate and long-term needs in mind.
• Implement personalized speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing proficiency.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and families to encourage progress and understanding beyond therapy sessions.
• Undertake occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy to maintain seamless care during the recovery process.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Licensing & Certifications

• State licensure for Speech Language Pathologists.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
