Speech Language Pathologist

Pride Health is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support our client’s medical facility in the city of Aspermont, TX . This is a 3-month assignment and an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative rehabilitation team serving patients across a 53-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, a 20-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH), and an Outpatient Therapy Clinic. This role is suited for an experienced clinician passionate about improving patients’ communication and swallowing abilities. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document progress accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams. Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs. Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards. Skills & Qualifications Current Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) in the applicable state. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience and competency performing FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) is required.
