Reliability engineer

job summary:
We are hiring a hands-on Reliability Engineer to optimize our preventive/predictive maintenance programs, track key performance metrics, and lead capital projects from initial design straight through to startup.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering and 3+ years of Reliability experience in a manufacturing/heavy industrial environment.

responsibilities:

• Develop and implement reliability strategies for mechanical and electrical equipment such as drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, lubrication systems, and automation.

• Conduct systematic FMEAs on critical assets to identify and mitigate high-risk failure modes.

• Oversee the installation and analysis of Vibration Analysis, Thermography, and Ultrasonic sensors.

• Track and report on key KPIs includingMTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

• Audit the Computerized Maintenance Management System (e.g., SAP, Maximo) to ensure work orders provide \"clean\" data for failure trend analysis.

• Provide reliability input for Capital Projects, plant upgrades, and new equipment installations.

• Provide assistance to production and maintenance as required.
