Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Moorhead, MNBlue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Eventide on Eighth in Moorhead, MN. (This position will also support a facility in Fargo, at Bethany on University one day per week)This role focuses on delivering skilled occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans designed to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, cognition, and overall independence.What You'll DoProvide skilled occupational therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of careImplement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomesTreat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settingsMonitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational TherapistMaintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standardsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomesWhat You BringGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programCurrent Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable stateExperience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferredStrong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skillsCommitment to patient-centered care and professional standardsWhy Blue Stone Therapy?We believe exceptional care begins with exceptional clinicians.
