Position Security Officer Medical Driver Patrol Location Chattanooga, TN Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support healthcare operations by assisting with directions, de‑escalation, and other security‑related duties as assigned while maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that may include morgue areas. Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED. Must be able to restrain individuals when required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
