SAGE Dining Services is seeking motivated full and part-time Prep Cooks/Servers for a private day school in Arkansas. Our dynamic team is paid weekly and offered continuous training, including being cross-trained on other roles in the facility. We offer growth within the team and in the company overall. This person would be responsible for composing specified recipes daily, setting up and breaking down service lines, cleaning, and serving our community with an engaging SMILE!

This position follows the school schedule, so outside of school events, this role is Monday through Friday with holidays and summers off.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Available hours between 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Summers off
• Available overtime for catering events

Pay Type:

$17.50 - $19.00 Hourly

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.

Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.

Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.

Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.

Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).

Assist in training new culinary Team Members.

Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.

Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.

Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.

Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.

Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.

Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
