Forklift OperatorFast Paced manufacturing and warehouse operation is seeking a material handler / forklift operator for its 7:00am - 3:30pm shift.JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY Must have strong computer skills and attention to detail• Receiving and Warehousing of incoming Raw Materials o Ensure proper documentation for load o Unload truck o Ensure product description and count matches packing list o Inspect for damaged material o Transport product to proper warehouse location • Distribution of Raw Materials to Production o Communicate with operations to determine what raw materials are required at each machine o Transport selected raw materials from warehouse to designated machines. • Preparing Finished Goods from Manufacturing for Shipment o Strap, stretch wrap, weigh and label finished goods pallets o Transport finished goods to proper warehouse location • Warehousing and Shipping Finished Goods o Ensure proper documentation for load o Ensure product description and count matches packing list o Transport finished product from warehouse/manufacturing to loading dock o Inspect for damaged material o Load truckREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.) Education/Licensure/Credentials Required: Forklift Certification along with strong computer proficiencyExperience Required: Minimum of 1-year warehousing and fork lift experienceSpecialKnowledge/ Skills Required: Detail Oriented Good communication skills Ability to work with minimum supervision Computer literate with good keyboard skills
