Supervisor II - Operations

Production Supervisor – 1st Shift Location: Horicon, WI Pay: $41-$44/hour Schedule: 1st Shift (5:00 AM -1:30 PM) + overtime as needed Overview We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead production employees to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals Foster a positive, accountable, and communicative team environment Manage daily production activities, staffing, and workflow based on production schedules Train, onboard, and develop employees to ensure team success Monitor product quality and troubleshoot manufacturing issues Implement and enforce safety programs and company policies Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations Track and improve team performance, productivity, and operational metrics Required Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), Kanban, or similar principles Experience working with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, supply chain, etc.) Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience 2+ years of experience in a factory environment Experience working in a union environment Working knowledge of SAP Project management or continuous improvement experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred Associate degree or equivalent experience also considered Work Environment On-site role in a manufacturing facility Requires flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work PPE required (safety shoes, etc.) What You’ll Do You will serve as the front‑line leader on the production floor , ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting and developing your team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
