Logistics Leader

Woodwards Aerospace Division is seeking a Logistics Leader in our Loves Park Illinois campus to lead supply chain operations and improve efficiency across procurement manufacturing logistics and distribution. This role develops and implements supply chain strategies monitors performance manages vendor relationships and partners with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

Estimated annual base pay: $105000-$140000

All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies tailored to the specific needs of the business segment to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

• Operational Management: Oversee daily supply chain operations ensuring seamless coordination between procurement manufacturing logistics and distribution to meet business objectives .

• Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Analyze supply chain performance metrics identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

• Vendor and Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers vendors and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply and high service standards.

• Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as sales marketing finance and product development to align supply chain activities with overall business goals and drive integrated solutions.

• Technology Proficiency: Utilizes supply chain management software and other relevant technologies to streamline operations and enhance data analysis capabilities.

• Risk Management: Identifies potential risks in the supply chain and develops strategies to mitigate them ensuring continuity and resilience of operations.

• Project Management: Plans executes and oversees supply chain projects ensuring they are completed on time within scope and meet the desired objectives .
