Immediate Medical Assistant contract position available for our physician practice group in Riverhead, NY

Note: Experience with Family Medicine and specialties including Cardiology and Urology a plus!

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Work Schedule:

8:00am - 4:00pm, 8:30-4:30, 9am-5pm (Monday to Friday)
11am-7pm, occasionally/if needed and with notice

Responsibilities:

Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical record
Medical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam rooms
Assist with front desk responsibilities, as needed

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
BLS Certification
Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
EPIC system experience a plus
