Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift position in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves providing post-operative recovery care for patients, including pre-operative and phase two PACU experiences. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and is suited for nurses with relevant PACU experience.

Job Details:

• Position: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN
• Location: Rockford, Illinois
• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 07/19/2026
• Required Qualifications: Illinois nursing license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; at least 2 years of experience in PACU, pre-operative, and phase two PACU settings
• Additional Information: Phase 1 PACU experience as well as pre-op and phase 2 PACU experience are required. Shift schedule includes varied start times between 0800 and 1030 hours. On call coverage for weekends and holidays, including Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday nights, with potential for additional call coverage Monday through Thursday if needed.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends
