A 13-week travel opportunity is available for a pharmacist at a 500-bed hospital in Cincinnati, with potential for extension. This role requires an experienced hospital pharmacist comfortable working evening shifts, either 4x10s or 5x8s, with initial training during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and check sterile compounding processes, ensuring patient safety
• Verify medication orders, including sterile products and dose medications
• Manage medication dispensing and inventory control via Pyxis
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals by answering questions from patients and doctors
• Participate in specialized services such as IV room operations, ECMO, CRRT, and antibiotic dosing consultations
• Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist license
• Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience in a large, academic hospital setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Experience with sterile compounding oversight and order verification
• Strong clinical knowledge in critical care pharmacy practices

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Schedule:

• Evening shifts, 4x10 or 5x8 options
• Training shifts during daytime hours
