Ultrasound Technician: Maternal Fetal Medicine

Schedule

This is a Day 5x8-Hour shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends are required.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician in Maternal Fetal Medicine is responsible for performing a variety of high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations and procedures. You will apply independent clinical judgment based on patient condition and clinical circumstances while executing diagnostic sonography examinations and correlating imaging findings with the patient's medical history.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Conduct clinical assessments correlating with patient medical history.
• Manage a daily case load of approximately 10 patients.
• Utilize specific techniques such as Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, and Doppler assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine and office experience required.
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN and BLS certification are required.
• Preferred certifications include ARDMS FE and NT (Nuchal Translucency).
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
