Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a Systems Specialist for our Longview, WAlocation. Wage Range: $28.81 - $45.01

-Opportunities for growth within the company PRIMARY FUNCTION Provide technicaland systems support for Credit Union staff, business applications, ITservice tools, and assigned technology systems. This position serves as abridge between frontline support and systems administration by helpingmaintain system availability, coordinating software updates, supporting ITprojects, and assisting with the organization of tickets, assets,documentation, and vendor-supported systems. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with the administration, maintenance,and support of assigned business applications, vendor systems, and relatedservers or virtual machines.
• Support the configuration and utilization oftools to monitor and report system utilization and health metrics.
• Coordinate with vendors and internaldepartments on software updates, application upgrades, troubleshooting,testing, and follow-up tasks.
• Assist with patching, software deployment,endpoint management, recurring system maintenance, and projects as assigned.
• Contribute to the completion of daily ISOperations tasks, as required.
• Serve as an escalation resource for advanceddesktop, software, application, peripheral, and system-related support issues.
• Escalate problems and other issues toappropriate staff or vendors, when necessary.
• Provide prompt and courteous IT support toCredit Union staff and ongoing monitoring of incoming Helpdesk calls andtickets.
• Interface with, monitor, and direct outsidevendors.
• Travel to services centers or otherlocations, as required to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of theposition.
• Support the building, installation, testing,and maintenance of new and existing hardware, software, peripherals, andprograms.
• Generate and maintain appropriatedocumentation and reports, and document tasks in appropriate trackingsystem(s).
• Assist staff with the navigation, use, andconfiguration of software applications, hardware, and peripherals.
• Maintain records and archival procedures toadhere to retention and compliance requirements.
• Help to mitigate security findings relatedto business applications and systems. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Position Knowledge - The individual isrequired to have the skill and mental development equivalent to the completionof high school, and aptitude conducive to training for the position. Within oneyear in the role, the individual is expected to develop the knowledge andexperience necessary to pass industry recognized IT certifications, such asCompTIA A+ & CompTIA Network+.
• Travel - The individual must have reliabletransportation and be willing and able to travel to/from any services center orlocation, as the position requires.

• Planning/Organizing - The individualprioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and developsrealistic action plans.
• Quality Control - The individualdemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work to ensurequality.
• Dependability - The individual isconsistently at work and on time (except for those cases protected by law whichare outlined in the Employee Guide), follows instructions, responds tomanagement direction, solicits feedback to improve performance, and successfullyworks under stressful and pressure-filled situations.
• Observes Policies/Procedures - Theindividual sets an example in observing (following) Credit Union policies andapplicable Standard Operating Procedures, as well as those in the EmployeeGuide. APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS Possess high school diploma or equivalent Education - (1) A two-year college degree, or (2)completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion ofspecialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skillsacquired through an apprenticeship program or relevant experience. Experience - Three to five years of similar or relatedexperience preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to think logically, solve problems, work independently, be capable offollowing detailed technical instructions, and be willing and able tocontinuously learn. The individual will also benefit from an understanding ofcore systems administration and networking concepts includingvirtualization, security, SAN storage, TCP/IP, and user access management.
