Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Respond to equipment breakdowns and unplanned maintenance needs to minimize production downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues across production equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure machinery reliability and optimal performance. Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs using a maintenance management system. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure equipment meets process requirements. Troubleshoot plant utilities and support systems such as air, water, and steam. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues. Understanding of best safety practices. Examples include PPE usage, lockout/tagout, and safe work practices in an industrial environment. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology preferred. Experience working with production or processing equipment found in industrial machinery environments. Experience with welding and fabrication skills preferred Basic computer skills and maintenance tracking systems.
