This role focuses on patient assessment, direct BLS treatment, operational readiness, and strong teamwork in support of Paramedics and other public safety partners. Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks during ALS calls. Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to the Paramedic or receiving facility. Complete accurate, timely electronic documentation of BLS care and patient interactions. Operate the ambulance safely as assigned, following AmeriPro driving standards and traffic regulations. Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections, cleaning, restocking, and reporting issues. Perform stretcher operations, lifting/moving patients, and securing equipment to support safe transport. Participate in required training and quality improvement activities to maintain EMT proficiency.
