Civil Project Manager

Civil Project ManagerDewberry is currently seeking a Civil Project Manager for our Virginia Beach, VA office. The successful candidate will have technical, project management, and market access responsibilities to lead site/civil design projects in the commercial, industrial, and residential markets. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call "Dewberry at Work," that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesLead teams in all aspects of site/civil project design including site layout, site planning, grading, storm water management, erosion & sediment control, roadways, utilities, and permitting for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.Manage design for multiple projects.Assist with business development/marketing/proposal efforts.Oversee, train and mentor junior/mid-level staff.Work closely with clients and agency staff, including attendance at public and/or construction meetings and also represent the company at other events as needed.Required Skills & Required ExperienceBS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 10 years of directly related experience in the commercial/residential markets.Virginia PE license required.Strong communication skills.Ability to work on multiple project assignments concurrently.Ability to work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedules.Ability to provide technical expertise to design staff.Desire to work in a team environment.Strong computer skills utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, storm water modeling software, as well as Microsoft Office programs.Don't meet every single requirement?
