PARTS BUSINESS MANAGER Kress is looking for a full time Parts Business Manager to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries. The Parts Business Manager is responsible for managing the company’s quotation process, order entry, and order management processes. The position serves as the supervisor of the parts department employees, ensuring 24/7 responsiveness and alignment with production planning. Responsibilities Ensures a safe working environment by following safety rules, common sense, and initiating safety audits where unsafe conditions are discovered Reliably work all scheduled shifts to provide timeliness to operations Manage effective purchase agreement formation ensuring Kress operates under its own terms and conditions Supervise a staff of Parts Representatives Ensure process excellence in the quotation, order processing, and RGA processes Ensure demand from orders is properly structured to be planned correctly by Master Planning Address 24/7 customer needs Monitor and report metrics for the parts business Interact with customers where issues arise Ensure audit compliance by keeping purchase order records Coordinate with Finance, Engineering, Product Support, Purchasing, and Manufacturing departments Properly retain export documents, pick lists, and bills of lading Adhere to company safety standards and follow company policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of experience in parts operations, aftermarket support, or manufacturing environment Previous knowledge of heavy equipment manufacturing and sales support strongly desired Experience working within an ERP system (order management, inventory, demand planning, or COM module experience strongly preferred) Portal experience a plus Understanding of purchase agreements / deal formation Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Engineering Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment Kress Benefits Group Health Insurance including Prescriptions Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Kress Corporation is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
