Inventory Control Coordinator - Pharmacy Full-time / 40 hours per week / 1st shift – Barberton campus Summa Health System is a leading regional employer recognized by NorthCoast 99 for its culture, service dedication, and servant leadership philosophy. The position is located in Barberton, OH. Summary Orders, maintains, and distributes pharmacy inventory while ensuring quality. Responsible for analytical and procurement duties, interdepartmental transfers, and collaborating with pharmacy leadership, technology teams, and affiliated facilities to support unit and organizational goals and meet customer needs. Minimum Qualifications Formal Education Required: Completion of basic high school coursework in science and mathematics. Experience & Training Required: Three (3) years of experience in pharmacy inventory management; hospital experience preferred. National Pharmacy Technician Certification. Licensed as a pharmacy technician by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (license may be applied for at offer acceptance). Strong interpersonal skills with pharmacists, nurses, physicians, other health personnel, and vendors. Collaborative team player who gives and accepts feedback, supports team goals, and reduces costs. Willingness to learn and master computer applications and automated pharmacy technologies. Level of Physical Demands Medium: Exerts 20‑50 pounds of force occasionally, 10‑25 pounds frequently, or negligible force continuously to move objects. Standing and walking for extended periods; pushes, pulls, carries, and lifts light to medium loads. Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, sharps; risk of falls, strains, contagious diseases, cuts, needle punctures.
