This inpatient hospital located in Rockville, Maryland provides interventional radiology services utilizing McKesson PACS and Philips IR equipment to support procedural and diagnostic imaging workflows. The facility employs Powerscribe 360 for clinical documentation and operates with established protocols for interventional radiology service delivery. The medical center serves a regional patient population requiring specialized interventional coverage on an ongoing basis.

Rockville, Maryland offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. The area features destinations such as Croydon Creek Nature Center, Glenview Mansion, and hiking and walking trails for outdoor activity, alongside shopping and entertainment options at Pike and Rose, Rockville Town Center, and Strathmore. Clinicians on assignment will also find access to leisure activities including mini golf, escape games, and boat cruises along the Potomac River, with cruise experiences typically running approximately 2 hours.

The vascular/interventional radiologist will provide on-site inpatient coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a 7 on 7 off schedule, with weeknight and weekend call responsibilities. Procedural responsibilities include performing biopsies, cysts, aspirations, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms, with an expected volume of 8-10 procedures per shift and up to 8-15 procedures per day. General diagnostic imaging is to be performed between interventional cases as able, utilizing Powerscribe 360 for dictation and McKesson PACS along with Philips IR equipment for clinical operations. Board certification is required for this assignment.

• Support Staff:  4 MDs on site ( group of 22MDs)
• Call Ratio/Schedule:  Weeknight and Weekend call
