David's Lawn Service | Shop Location: Loretto, MN David's Lawn Service is seeking a reliable, versatile Landscape Shop Mechanic/Assistant to support our equipment
maintenance, truck servicing, snow operations, and shop operations. This is a part-time position , a few days or more per
week, with the potential for additional hours during snow events .
Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair snow plows, blowers, and winter equipment
• Service landscape and lawn equipment including mowers and small engines during non snow events
• Perform basic to intermediate truck maintenance and repairs , including fluids, servicing, electrical troubleshooting,
and accessory installations
• Assist with seasonal equipment changeovers
• Support snow operations including plowing during snow events
• Move and organize equipment in the shop and yard
• Maintain shop cleanliness, safety, and proper etiquette
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of knowledge of snow plow and winter equipment maintenance/repairs
• Knowledge of landscape and lawn equipment repair
• Knowledge of truck maintenance, repairs, servicing, fluids, electrical systems, and installations
• Mechanical aptitude (small engines, hydraulics, basic electrical)
• Flexible, dependable, and able to work independently
• Physically capable of working in a shop/yard environment and on call during 3rd shift into 1st shift
Position Details
• Part-time, a few days per week. (Possibility of Full Time)
• Additional hours during snow operations or during busier times
• Schedule flexibility preferred
