Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN to join the Intensive Care Unit in Monroe, North Carolina. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to provide critical care to adult medical ICU patients in a 14-bed unit. The successful candidate will be adept at managing complex patient needs in a supportive and well-equipped environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide critical care to adult ICU patients, managing conditions such as sepsis, DKA, strokes, and respiratory failure
• Maintain and monitor ventilated patients, tracheostomies, and critical drips
• Conduct wound care and manage wound vacs, drains, and other medical apparatus
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and start peripheral IVs
• Insert and maintain NG tubes
• Collaborate with medical staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in patient care planning and rapid response/code team as needed

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• EPIC experience required
• Ability to manage complex ICU equipment, including monitors and infusion devices
