CDL A Delivery Driver

As a CDL A driver at Chick‑fil‑A Supply in Weston, FL you’ll: Drive state‑of‑the‑art trucks. Use the latest equipment to deliver product to multiple Chick‑fil‑A® restaurants. Schedule Sunday through Friday: start time between 5pm and 8pm until the work is done. All drivers receive two consecutive nights off every week, and everyone gets Saturday off. Generally 40–45+ hrs/week based on routes available. Location Weston, FL. Competitive Pay Guaranteed minimum 40‑hour pay between $1,500 to $1,800 per week based on driving experience. In‑house maintenance team keeps equipment running. Responsibilities Efficiency and Organization Make safe, timely deliveries within established delivery windows. Unload and stage product at 4–6 restaurants per shift. Complete all pickup and returns and submit paperwork. Assist in unloading the truck and putting away equipment upon return to DC. Safety First Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance issues. Operate within hours‑of‑service limits using an ELD. Maintain acceptable CSA record. Follow pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and DVIR reporting. Routine audit of registration, permits, insurance, IFTA, and other documents. Follow FSMA policies for safe food transport. Maintain acceptable MVR complying with DOT. Communication And Care Lead with care, exhibit honor, dignity, and respect. Build relationships with restaurant operators to learn best practices. Collaborate with team leaders before and after trips to assess unload time, delivery issues, continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent (GED). 1+ years tractor/trailer experience. Meet all DOT (FMCSA) requirements. At least 21 years of age. Class A CDL license from the state of residence. Complete a DOT application. Pass MVR requirements, medical card, drug test, background check. No preventable DOT recordable accidents in past 3 years. No more than 2 of the same type of moving violations in last 3 years; no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years; no DUI/DWI convictions in past 10 years. Must live within 60 miles of the distribution center. Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking). Good communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior food service (key drop) delivery experience. Team player specializing in accurate and efficient deliveries. Not afraid to share ideas for continued innovation. Follows all company policies, laws, and regulations for commercial drivers with a CDL A license. Physical Requirements Work in extreme temperatures –10°F to 100°F, including at night. Lift up to 65 pounds per case; occasionally use mechanical assistance up to 2,000 pounds.
