6271D Acute Surgical Unit – Med Surg RN

About the Unit
Join a fast-paced Acute Surgical Unit that cares for a high volume of patients. The unit typically discharges 8–15 patients daily while admitting a similar number from the Emergency Department (ED), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and direct admissions. An Admission, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT) nurse is available to help support patient flow and ensure efficient operations.

Requirements
Active RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience
Current BLS certification (Required)
ACLS certification (Preferred)
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Candidate Eligibility
Travel assignment only
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
