Job Description A small dairy located in Illinois is searching for a Herdsman for their operation. This position is responsible for AI breeding, preg checking, calf and heifer health care (dehorning, tagging, etc.), milking, and checking on problem and fresh cows. Must have herd health skills and be able to spot, diagnose, and treat sick cows and give IVs, shots and administer medications. Other responsibilities include feed mixing and feeding, bedding and cleaning pens and moving calves. Basic computer and record keeping skills.
