AutoNation Buyer

Responsible for the purchases of auction vehicles for both Regions in addition to managing the purchased inventory.Job Responsibilities:1. Purchasing vehicles through approved rental sources2. Scheduling transportation to final purchase destinations3.Transferring and correctly pricing purchased unit from day one4. Checking purchased inventory on a regular basis5. Communicating with UVD, MP and CAAD team6. Participating in TEAMS Meetings7. Manage daily purchases and reporting as needed8. Make sure titles are delivered to the destination store and assist with any title issues9. Assist in Arbitration and Dealshield returns10. Covering CAAD Appraisal queue as needed11. Properly represent the company to its customers and vendors in a friendly manner.12. Keep current with all applicable laws.13.Handle Escalations14. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers. 15. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.Qualifications:1. Must meet company’s requirements for employment.2. Two years of experience in a dealership position.3. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.4. Excellent communication skills, including customer service and customer care.5. Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel6. Professional personal appearance.7. Strong customer service skills.Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:1. Normal office environment.2.Office Auctions3.
