JSG is hiring a Buyer in downtown Los Angeles, CA. This is a hybrid role working a 9/80 schedule. Pay rate: $43-$45 DOE Job Duties Public purchasing policies and procedures basic negotiation practices current office technology and equipment Reviewing purchase order expected receipt reports to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies interfaces with vendors on past due deliveries and provides information to internal customers related to delivery dates and back orders collects, inputs, maintains and reports purchase information, including revised delivery dates, using an automated procurement and financial system and other software applications Processes non-bid purchases of materials, supplies, equipment, non-professional, and minor construction services, in accordance with specifications and scopes of work to support operations Contacts suppliers negotiates pricing and terms and conditions issues purchase orders Investigates and corrects purchasing and invoicing discrepancies within the automated procurement and financial system Maintains and/or assists in the maintenance of purchase order files and records Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years relevant experience Draft and execute contracts, including standard POs, Blanket Agreements and Master Contracts, for materials, supplies, equipment, and services, including public works projects Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions Source materials, supplies, and equipment for warehouse inventory replenishment per specifications Verify completeness and maintain contract documents and records for audit compliance Monitor purchase order ETAs, coordinate timely delivery, expedite, and resolve exceptions Analyze bid documents for accuracy, clarity, and completeness Create and maintain records throughout the bid process for audit review Benefits #D800 JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
