As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
