We're looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Marion office. What You'll Do As a Senior Tax Accountant at DWD, you'll work directly with clients and fellow professionals to provide thoughtful tax planning and compliance services across a variety of industries. Responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, nonprofit organizations, and payroll tax filings. Building lasting client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service. Assisting clients with tax planning opportunities and responding to tax-related questions. Researching tax issues and applying current tax law to client situations. Collaborating with partners and team members to deliver high-quality client service. Managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintaining the highest level of professionalism and client confidentiality. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who enjoys building client relationships, solving complex tax issues, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Qualifications include: CPA license (actively pursuing CPA certification) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation. Public accounting tax experience preferred. Experience preparing returns for pass-through entities, partnerships, corporations, and individual taxpayers. Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Experience with UltraTax, CS Fixed Assets, and tax research software is preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
