Electro Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities Performs troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on all types of production equipment. Investigates and executes economic repair options. Executes preventative maintenance program. Maintains inventory of maintenance spare parts. Assists in the installation of new equipment, and relocation of existing equipment. Performs maintenance on buildings, grounds and facility infrastructure. Coordinates with outside resources for delivery of repair goods and services. Maintains the highest quality of workmanship. Requires minimal supervision. Accepts/performs other responsibilities/duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. Completes tasks and operates equipment in a safe manner. Works at an acceptable and communicated level of productivity. Job Specifications (Desired Education and Experience) Vocational training in blueprint reading, basic machining and basic quality control. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Minimum five years in the industrial maintenance field. Minimum two years of vocational training. Valid North Carolina driver's license. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word and Excel. Must be able to wear safety equipment (hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses). Ability to work overtime when needed. Technical Skills Electrical Plumbing Hydraulics Carpentry Machine Shop Welding Troubleshooting electronic machine controls. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Mechanical – Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, control systems, and HVAC systems. Design – Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Building and Construction – Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in basic carpentry and construction. Engineering and Technology – Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. #J-18808-Ljbffr
