Responsibilities include: Welcoming patients and helping them feel relaxed throughout treatment Reviewing health histories and preparing patients for procedures Taking digital radiographs, iTero scans, clinical photography, and other diagnostics Assisting chairside during a wide variety of procedures using four-handed dentistry Preparing treatment rooms while maintaining OSHA and CDC standards of infection control Managing supplies and inventory Utilizing Dentrix software for patient scheduling and record management Partnership closely with Dr. Samaha and the clinical team to continually improve patient care and office efficiency Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of dental assisting experience Virginia X-ray Certification Strong working experience of dental terminology and procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Preferred Experience 5+ years in a dental setting Dentrix or other dental software experience Dental Assisting certification Interest and awareness of total health Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
